The summer season hosts recreation on the lake plus golfing at many nearby courses, mountain biking and various attractions from museums and theaters to festivals and antiquing. County fairs indicate the coming of fall with it's magnificent autumn colors when a chair ride to the summit of Mount Sunapee affords fantastic views. Winter sports include downhill and cross-country skiing, at several nearby resorts, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
We welcome you to join us for a vacation destination in this beautiful and unspoiled region of New Hampshire. The Lakeview Motor Lodge is a two story lodge, nestled on the hillside at the base of Mount Sunapee, with spectacular views of Lake Sunapee from all rooms. All 12 rooms are clean, large and comfortable with full, private baths. The upper story rooms have enclosed porches, while the lower story rooms have walk-out patios. We have an extensive in-house video library and all guests have access to the outside picnic tables and gas grills.
All our rooms have a refrigerator, color cable TV and VCR, telephone, coffee maker and toaster. Some of our rooms have microwave ovens and we have two rooms which accommodate pets. Please note: we are a non-smoking facility (smoking is allowed outside).
