Personal TouchesBy chetrick@snet.net Nice rooms, Incredible view and nice gardens. Very hospitable innkeepers. The man was very nice to my daughters and us. Nice touch is VHS collection that is a few years old but lots of great titles.
Rooms are comfortable.

A Home Away From Home

Very clean & comfortable room. Upper room has screened in porch for viewing/sitting in warm weather. Can't beat the view of Lake Sunapee in all seasons. Very friendly & hospitable Inn keepers! Free VHS movies with a large selection. Cable TV. Lots of hot water with good pressure. This is a cat friendly environment and the Persian "desk cat" is divine. If you're nice, you can meet a kitten or two. I stayed back from my mountain climbing entourage and the Inn keeper, Hedde, phoned my room to ask if I needed anything before they went out for dinner. Offered to bring something back for me. Very personable people here in a lovely establishment. Late check out available. The room had a very comfortable king size bed with coffee maker, coffee, small fridge. Some rooms differ in the amenities but they accommodate. This is very nicely located with quick access to both lake and ski areas. I've stayed at the Best Western 1/4 mile down the road and though they offer a pool and hot tub, it's shared by all guests and I felt it dubious in hygienics. I would opt to stay at the Lakeview because I think it offers better personalized service, hospitality plus and a great money value.
